GIFs are everywhere these days. Forum posts, Facebook comments, blog posts – people like animated GIFs. They’re entertaining, funny, and allow you to get your point across visually while not actually being in-front of the person you’re speaking to. Furthermore some of the most popular GIFs these days come from movies and television shows – and with that I introduce to you The Perfect GIF: Hulu’s own GIF search engine. Built on Tumblr, and filled with 1,400 GIFs from various TV shows The Perfect GIF allows you to find … well the perfect GIF and then share it on Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, or via email.

In an effort to optimize the search experience GIFs are categorized into eight main categories: “Shows,” “Actions,” “Reactions,” “LOL,” “Current TV,” “OMG,” “Fail,” and “Swag”. Furthermore you can also use the search box to search by a hashtag or directly by the name of the show. Browse The Perfect GIF and let me know what you think in the comments.
