[/frame]StatCounter has been around for a while now, focused on offering in-depth traffic information about your website completely free of charge. Over the years the user community around StatCounter has greatly grown – and with this came the requests for new features and functionality; and ofcourse StatCounter listened. Roughly 9 months ago StatCounter launched a beta program allowing their members to start utilizing the new, redesigned StatCounter – where over the next 9 months the SC team has slowly implemented feature after feature.

On September 30th all their hard work finally became live for everyone to see. The new features so far are:

  • Organize Projects
  • Switch between visits and pageloads on the Projects page
  • Improved Search Engine stats
  • Hourly Stats
  • Toggle between projects quickly when viewing your stats
  • Download a file of individual stats (e.g. keywords) by clicking the excel or CSV icons
  • Improved Screen Resolution stats
  • Inclusion of Search Ranking information (where available)
  • Date Range Selector and Compare Periods option
  • Improved Browser stats
  • Filter stats by country (or State or City or ISP)
  • URL Filter on Popular Pages
Do take note that if for any reason you do not like the new site, there is a link available on the left-hand site that gives you the option to switch back to the old StatCounter; although I have no idea why you would want to. Head on over to http://statcounter.com and check it out.
