[frame align=”left”][/frame]domaindiscount24.com (dd24) and Google have extended their agreement regarding the registration of domains through Google Apps. Since August 2012, Google Apps users can purchase a new domain through dd24 during the Google Apps registration process and connect it with their account. After this setting, the domain will be used exclusively for Google Apps and is not available for displaying a website.
“We are excited about the expansion of the dd24 offering within Google Apps. Existing dd24 customers can now easily and automatically link their domain with Google Apps”, says Gunter Bau, dd24 Product Manager, about the extended cooperation with Google. dd24 is a business division of Key-Systems GmbH, which is especially tailored to the needs of retail customers and SMBs. Using domaindiscount24.com, Google Apps customers can particularly use domains with numerous country-specific extensions such as .ES and .DE for Google Apps.
Google Apps includes Google applications for communication and collaboration, which are used with a customized domain name. Among others, these include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites and Google Drive. The user’s Google Apps account is connected to his domain, so that, for example, e-mails are sent from the address instead of . The connected domain is automatically configured to be compatible with all Google Apps services.
Via domaindiscount24.com customers can register and administer domains and use additional services such as vServers, web and mail space. The portal’s website and web interface are available in nine languages, including English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French. dd24 is a business division of the international IT company Key-Systems, headquartered in Germany.
