GoDaddy has announced yesterday its continued expansion into international markets. After beginning this international expansion fewer than two years ago and a recent successful release across Latin America, GoDaddy is now extending its offering more broadly across Europe. Not only will the company’s services become available in these European nations, but they’ll also come in 14 new languages.
The company is adding Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine to the list of nations where it offers its services.
The list of newly supported languages includes French, Dutch, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Ukrainian and Greek.
“GoDaddy is ‘turning the lights’ on for small businesses all across Europe. We believe small businesses are an economic driving force globally, which is why GoDaddy is committed to offering the individualized service and support necessary to empower those businesses for success. In a single day, we turned on support for customers in 21 new markets. This release represents our continued commitment to support small businesses with a completely localized offering,” said GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving.
So far, GoDaddy is present in 42 markets, and offers support for 44 currencies and 17 languages. Recently, the company has expanded into Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile and Peru. The company hopes to soon bring its services to customers in 60 markets and 30 languages.
