I had written this Javascript based budget calculator for GI Money Magazine a while back and honestly completely forgot to mention it here. For those of you unfamiliar with GI Money Magazine, GI Money is a brand dedicated to provide high-level educational media for service members and their families. GI Money launched in 2010 as an ever-growing print and digital media source, providing solutions for everyday problems that currently hinder the effectiveness of our troops. GI Money will develop into a family of various media products designed to deliver first class content in support of the unique challenges faced by today’s military family.
The budget calculator is intended to help veterans and anyone else plan out their monthly budget. The calculator features a variety of universal fields, as-well as field descriptions which are initially hidden from view and drop down in an accordion style when specified.
