Developing in HTML5 hasn’t exactly been easy – since most documentation that’s currently available for HTML5 is biased towards a specific browser. Adobe, Apple, Facebook, Google, HP, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia, Opera and the W3C have joined forces to create WebPlatform.org; a definitive, community-driven library of web developer resources.

The wiki-based site is still an early alpha release, and is only available in English, but you’ll find information about HTML5, CSS3, animation, media queries, audio, video, canvas, SVG and more. As well as the documentation, there are tutorials, a blog and Q&A section where you can ask and respond to questions from other members.

Furthermore Alex Komoroske, Peter Lubbers, and Scott Rowe—all with Google—have put together a 30 minute video showcasing an overview of the site, a history of the content, instructions about getting started, possible future features, answers to viewers’ questions and much more.
