Continuing on with all of the recent changes Yahoo has been making lately in an effort to revive their image, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo MoviesYahoo MusicYahoo TVYahoo omg!Yahoo Games and Yahoo Weather have all received a new, modern, redesign. The new redesign finally starts to put a consistent design and navigation across the Yahoo site network – which I am sure will result in an increase in popularity for the company.

Yahoo outlined some of the main features of the redesigns in a recent blog post:

  • The new Yahoo! Sports gives more prominence to what matters to you, including premium content from our Yahoo! Sports experts, scores and fantasy games. It’s also easier to explore your favorite leagues in the content stream — such as NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR— as well as find content from our exclusive partners like NBC Sports, and more. If you’re preparing your Yahoo! Fantasy Football team, you’ll also notice a refresh of our Yahoo! Fantasy game. The goal of these changes is to provide a game that’s easier to use and more fun to play.
  • Refreshed Yahoo! Movies, Yahoo! Music, Yahoo! TV and Yahoo! omg! provide entertaining, personalized and engaging experiences. We’ve created  an easier and intuitive experience for finding movie showtimes, now you can sort by theater or movie. We’ve also made it simpler to find more entertainment content, including movie trailers, tv episodes and music videos. The viewing experience for videos and photos have never been more beautiful — video screens are  now larger and photos are more immersive, high quality and can be seen in full-screen.
  • With the new Yahoo! Games, we’ve streamlined the site and made it easier for you to find popular games like “Slotomania” and “The Godfather: Five Families”, discover new games like “Pirates: Tides of Fortune”, and get to some of your old-time favorites like “Gem Swap” and “Dragon Mahjong” to bring back a little nostalgia. And, we’ve improved tracking of your games history so you can get back to your favorite ones faster.
  • Some of your favorite features on the Yahoo! Weather mobile iOS and Android apps have been reimagined for the web. Now, beautiful, full-bleed photos from our Flickr community show you current local conditions of the time and type of weather, alongside comprehensive weather information — so you can truly experience the weather, not just check it.
