With a plethora of mobile-only users on Facebook, and with mobile ads performing up to 5 times better than their desktop counterparts – Facebook has been hard at work at building an ideal mobile-only advertising platform that can bring together a cornucopia of display options. This week, Facebook introduced the world to Canvas, a new ad format offering what is basically a mini-website that users can browse once they click on you’re ad.
