Animated GIFs can make or break your day. They’re a great way to help raise the mood on that rainy, crappy, day – but too many of them when you don’t want them can also make you want to rip your hair out – or what’s left of it. That being said – Facebook has now started to slowly roll out support for animated GIF images.

The way they will work is that you’ll get the first screen of the animated GIF with a GIF button placed over it. Once you click on it, or tap it on your mobile device, the animated GIF will start playing. Sharing an animated GIF is rather simple. Literally just copy/paste a link to any GIF online – however take note that this feature isn’t active for everyone yet.
