Facebook Pages are accessed by billions of people every single month, with over a billion of those using their mobile devices. So it comes as no surprise that Facebook has launched several new features for Facebook Pages specifically targeted towards improving the user experience for mobile users.

This starts with more prominent call to action buttons which, on mobile, now spread the full width of a Facebook page, shown directly below the cover photo, and are much brighter than in the past:

Things only get better from here though. Facebook Pages are now starting to really stand out from each other as Facebook begins to introduce dedicated sections designed to let specific business types showcase what they do/offer. This kicks off with two new sections for now: Shop and Services.

Shop allows retail businesses to showcase their various products on their page. Services lets professional service businesses show a breakdown of the various services that they provide.

Until now, Pages have been largely the same for every business. Now we’re beginning to add new sections to Pages, so different types of businesses can prominently feature the information that is most relevant to their organization.

The updates are slowly being rolled out to all Facebook Pages. The larger and more prominent call to action buttons should already be live for you, as it is across every single page I have tested. The new page sections will likely take a couple of weeks to roll out to everyone.
