When your website takes a while to load up – this causes a series of traffic and SEO related consequences. No-one wants to wait a long time for your website to load up; and search engines such as Google and Bing always take your page’s load speed into account when generating your websites ranking. The new Page Speed Tool from Internet Marketing Ninja’s let’s you test the load times for your website with various load times.

The webpage speed test is also incredibly useful if you need to see what components of your page take the shortest and longest amounts of time to load. Finally, you can also see a full breakdown of every component of your page by using the web site speed test.

To be honest it reminds me a little of Pingdom’s reports. There is however an awesome feature that lets you compare 2 different pages – so you could do some testing of different layouts to see what loads quicker. Go ahead and run the test on your own website and start optimizing – or contact me for some help.
