Let’s all admit something right now – we probably spend way too much time on social networking websites while we should be doing something more productive – like working. Unfortunately having self control sucks. Luckily the Internet doesn’t suck and as such there’s an awesome tool called KeepMeOut that helps you control your own Internet addiction.

The way KeepMeOut works is simple. You simply tell it the website that you want to monitor and what limits you wish to place on yourself. You can control how many times you should be visiting that website within how many minute, on what days, and during what times even. You’re options are pretty all inclusive.

KeepMeOut then generates a bookmark and you use that bookmark to access your favorite online addiction. What happens when you hit your limit? You get a clean page telling you when you’ve last visited this site, and some visual representations of your addiction levels. Errr – i mean the amount of times you’ve visited that website within the past month, and your daily average.
