Rapid Purple has came quiet a long way over the years. Starting off as simply my online portfolio featuring my latest work and my own personal resume, and slowly transitioning to be the Next Designs replacement that deep down I always wanted it to be. For those of you who weren’t around back when Next Designs was online – Next Designs was one of the first free webmaster resource centers – offering a plethora of webmaster knowledge, webmaster news, and a ton of freebies ranging from template downloads to free hosting.

Over time I felt like things got a bit crowded here at Rapid Purple – with our premium services expanding, the portfolio growing, and the free webmaster resources piling on. Eventually it came time for a change. Rapid Purple should be, and will be, a free webmasters resource center.

What’s Changing

The premium services that used to be offered here are transitioning over to Media Explode – my online presence consulting company. The services, the quality, and the support teams will all remain the same. The only thing changing is the branding. Feel free to head on over to www.mediaexplode.com to browse through all the premium webmaster services.

Rapid Purple will continue to feature the latest webmaster news surrounding the internet, marketing, SEO & social media. Furthermore we will continue to post the latest hosting & domain name coupons and discounts; along with various webmaster tutorials ranging from Adobe Photoshop techniques to programming in PHP & MySQL.

The free webmaster generators will remain online; and the free webmaster resources directory will get quiet the upgrade as we roll out the ability for all our visitors to rate the listed resource and post their own review about it.

When Will V3 Be Officially Out?

If you’re reading this post right now, that means you’re browsing the beta version of Rapid Purple. Actually mostly everyone utilizing a modern browser will automatically get directed to the new V3 beta. Mobile users utilizing the newer Android and Apple devices will also experience the new mobile view for Rapid Purple.

I’m personally aiming to have the site out of beta within the month of March with full support for the majority of devices. Don’t get me wrong if you’re still using IE7 you’ll probably see a message to upgrade or face the wrath of [browser froze because author was typing too fast].

Things To Keep In Mind

This is a beta. As such there are still bugs in places and work being done constantly. Pages will change from what they looked like the night before. Don’t be alarmed. However do feel free to submit any bugs you encounter directly into the comments section below, or use the contact form here.
