Incorporated in 1998, ELLANA, Inc. is a certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) construction consultant firm that provides four core services consisting of cost management, project controls, owner representation and professional training services to a wide range of A/E/C industry clients. In-fact they are one of a small handful of firms who handle these types of jobs – and It was quiet an honor to work with them on performing some website updates for them. The ELLANA, Inc. website is Joomla based, and built upon the YJSG framework. The biggest focus of my work was to revamp their Experience section – which essentially acts as on online portfolio for several hundred of Ellana Inc’s past projects. This consisted of adding 178 new articles to their appropriate categories within the Experience section, and designing a new display to feature 5 articles per category.

    1. Joomla 3.1.5 Stable just came out this past August. Ill have to make that recommendation. Granted I don’t think Joomla was necessarily the ideal choice here either.

This reminds me to write a post about choosing a CMS.
