SpeedySparrow was acquired by Spiral Hosting a couple of years back in 2013, and since then nothing much has really changed with SpeedySparrow. The network and infrastructure got better, and the SpeedySparrow brand remained alive and well … until now.
See ever since the acquisition, Spiral Hosting has had to spread their staff and available resources between two different brand names. All of their support resources, their marketing resources, advertising budgets – split between two brands. Eventually – the consolidation had to happen. And so it did. As of September 25th, 2016 SpeedySparrow’s services and clients have been consolidated with Spiral Hosting.
All existing clients will continue to receive the same exact service they had before – they will simply login to a client portal at SpiralHosting.com instead.
Existing customers will continue to receive the same web hosting, domain registration and SSL services, as well as 24/7/365 support. Your hosting login details will remain the same, and all SpeedySparrow customers can now login to the Spiral Hosting client area to view all your existing products, services, support tickets and billing information.
Take note that the client portal account migration did have some hiccups – and as such new and old clients may have been bombarded with several dozen emails regarding invoices and invoice payments. You can disregard all of those. If your account was up-to-date with SpeedySparrow, it still is with Spiral Hosting.
I will miss the Sparrow however. It was a great mascot, and I had some great times over on the SpeedySparrow community forums.
