Domain name giant and hosting company Namecheap recently announced the acceptance of Bitcoins for its services. “We’re delighted to inform you that we now accept the Bitcoin payment method, in addition to PayPal, Google CheckOut, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express,” stated the company via its homepage.

Namecheap is a customer-focused domain name registrar and web host. For months now, Bitcoin has been requested of Namecheap among the tech audience, so its great to see that they have listened. Namecheap continues to innovate and respond to threats and challenges in the online space. In the last 13 months, they have donated over $100,000 to the Electronic Frontier Foundation to support online freedom.
