The .ORG registry, PIR, has partnered with GoDaddy.com and ENOM to auction and sell 87 one and two-character .ORG domain names in the coming year. Go Daddy has secured 43 of those 87 domain names and offered them up for public auction. This is the first time PIR has released such rare, valuable .ORG domain names, and they’ll only be available March 18 through March 28. Proceeds from the auction will fund programs that strengthen the online presences of non-profit organizations.
