If you’re not familiar with Strikingly yet – they’re a WIX-style website builder that focuses on making things as simple as possible. The goal is to utilize existing social media profiles and content to help generate a website with as little work as possible. So with that being said Strikingly has launched their brand new Facebook Page One-Click app, which allows you to create a website in literally a few seconds from your businesses Facebook page.
It works fairly simple. You connect your Facebook page with Strikingly, and Strikingly pulls in all of your data from your Facebook page – such as your About text, your photos, page admins, cover image and contact information – and then displays it all in a clean and modern one-page website. I ran through the process myself using the Rapid Purple Facebook page and came out with this. Considering I did absolutely no editing to the page at all and let the Strikingly generator handle everything – it’s a pretty good outcome. Of-course Strikingly also gives you a full WYSIWYG editor to further modify your generated site.
