During the SMX AdvancedĀ conference last night Google’s Gary Illyes announced that there will be a Panda data refresh coming within the next few weeks. Expectantly within two to four weeks. Now it’s important to take note that this isĀ not an algorithmic change, however merely a data refresh.

Now this means that the data about your website could be refreshed and thus re-ran through the Panda algorithm. Some sites may recover from previous lost rankings; some sites may get hit; some sites may see no changes at all. Ultimately we won’t know how much of an effect this refresh will have until it rolls out.

As it sits right now Google Panda hasn’t seen an update since October 2014, 7 months ago! Once the new Panda refresh rolls out I’ll be sure to announce it here.
