Using popups or popunders on your website? Running Google Adsense? Better jump to disable those popups/unders since Google just officially announced they will not permit the placement of Google Adsense on any website utilizing popups/unders.

To simplify our policies, we are no longer permitting the placement of Google ads on pages that are loaded as a pop-up or pop-under. Additionally, we do not permit Google ads on any site that contains or triggers pop-unders, regardless of whether Google ads are shown in the pop-unders.

Frankly, common internet morals should make you disable those pesky pop-ups/unders. Nobody likes them, and Google & Bing have hated them for quite a while now. I also want to make something clear, Google Adsense never really allowed their ads to be displayed on pop-ups/unders in the first place. They just never made that policy as clear as they did now. So if you’ve gotten away with this in the past, chances are that’s going to stop shortly. Disable those pop-ups/unders before your account is banned entirely.
