It seems that Google is experimenting with a new method to verify businesses for the Google My Business program. Rather than waiting weeks for a post card, users who have an auto-receptionist setup on their phone will be able to verify their business listing using a company email address. This new method would definitely go a long way in helping to speed up the verification process for new Google Business listings.
