Facebook has announced support for 90-day campaigns  – letting marketers run de-duped campaigns over a longer period of time. The new functionality is live already, and also extends to Instagram campaigns.

Facebook says on its Marketing Partners website “When running longer campaign lengths, we suggest that you also utilize the frequency cap interval feature. Currently, if you do not break up your longer (90-day) campaigns into frequency capped intervals then there will likely be very low delivery on some days (we will look to improve our pacing with this in the future).”

The beauty of these campaigns is that once you get your interval timing down – you only have to setup 1 campaign which can last you an entire quarter. Plus – there’s no API changes associated with this – so all you’re existing reporting tools will continue to function even with you’re longer campaigns.
