Everyone is so caught up complaining about the upcoming Instagram newsfeed change – that we’ve almost missed another huge changing coming to Instagram. Videos on Instagram are going to change from the current 15-second limit to 60-seconds! That’s 4x the original amount, and 2x the size of Twitter. Furthermore iOS users are also getting back the ability to create multi-clip videos sourced from locally stored videos (update v7.19).

In the last six months, the time people spent watching video increased by more than 40 percent. And longer videos mean more diverse stories from the accounts you love, whether it’s Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) hanging out with friends or beauty star Bretman Rock’s (@bretmanrock) latest makeup tutorial.

The new 60-second video limit has already started rolling out – and should be available for everyone using the Instagram apps within a couple months.
