One of the most annoying parts of following links within any social media post on your mobile device is that it usually takes you away from what you wanted to be doing. Facebook solved this by opening links in an internal browser within the Facebook app, and now Twitter has launched a similar feature within Moments – letting you go through a moment, follow a link, read an article, and continue with the Moment.

People can now dive deeper into publisher content found in Moments, and publishers can continue telling their stories on their own websites, all while also accessing Twitter’s global audience. This expands possibilities for storytelling on Twitter, while providing more context for people.

Go ahead and give it a shot the next time you see an moment with a featured link. It’s a phenomenal improvement to what was already my favorite Twitter feature. What do you think?
