Not everything I do goes onto the portfolio here on Rapid Purple, however I do like to mention some of the smaller projects that are just interesting to me – like this logo design that just got finished for a local rim repair company called RimFocus. The logo is derived from the Porsche crest, complete with Porsche inspired text to match. Considering I have a passion for most things automotive, I really enjoy the projects that I work on that tie into that passion for me. Porsche has always been one of my favorite car manufacturers, so it was great to meet someone who also shared a love for all things Porsche design; enough so to wish to style their company logo after Porsche. The logo design work itself took roughly a week – given time for the approval of drafts, and making new versions. If you’re curious – this was the 3rd version of the logo. Choosing the right text to get the text alignment just right was key in order to have this logo design looking it’s best.

  1. awesome!!! this is what a creative mind can do plus they need a software which is exactly compatible with their skills, when it comes to Photoshop i think its the best program on earth for the designers who are willing to expose their skills.
