[frame align=”left”]SingleHop : Cloud Computing Products[/frame]Hosting company SingleHop announced at the end of March the launch of a new VMware-enabled cloud solution. Made for a single-tenant environment, the private platform is made possible through vSphere. “Our VMware Enterprise Private Cloud stands out in the market because it enables users to deploy any number of virtual machines with no fluctuation in costs, as there is no hourly billing or per-user fee,” commented SingleHop Chief Operating Officer Andy Pace via a press release.

Features of the cloud include things such as automatic failover, autoscaling, live migrations and more. Pace’s comments also appeared to focus on the solution’s efficiency. “Organizations can use it to deploy resources much faster to individual departments, because they can create and destroy virtual machines on the fly. It’s ideal for companies that have concerns relating to privacy or need to meet certain compliance standards that cannot be fulfilled with public cloud options,” Pace went on to say.

The offering is custom-built wherein users can launch an unlimited amount of virtual machines and manage apps via vFabric Suite. Apart from this, SingeHop already provides a range of services such as public cloud, apps along with dedicated servers. The latest launch from the company follows a February announcement in which SingleHop debuted an enterprise-class public cloud. Check them out at .
