Facebook has released their Q2 2015 statistics, and apart from a 39% growth in revenue, there are some very interesting numbers in there that webmasters and marketers should take note of. First off 1.49 billion people access Facebook at least once a month, and considering that the global online population is currently estimated at 3 billion – that means that basically half of everyone online is using Facebook. So if you haven’t started growing an online presence for your business – this is a great wake up call.

The majority of those 1.49 billion monthly users are using Facebook on their mobile device, with 844 million of those people accessing Facebook on a daily basis from their mobile devices. There’s a few things you should take away from this. First off, that’s alot of potential customers and clients that you’re business should be networking with and marketing to. Secondly that’s alot of people that may be walking right by your storefront, on Facebook, who you need to be reaching out to.
