Sharing links on Facebook for mobile users was always rather annoying. You had to either copy paste the link from your browser; or utilize the Copy Link function when you’re browsing something within the Facebook browser window. Then you write a new post; paste the link in, and finally share it. Facebook is looking to change all of that as they begin the rollout of an “Add a Link” button on iOS devices. The Add a Link buttonĀ pulls up a search box where users can search through links that are already popular on Facebook & select the one they wish to share.

This can open up some great advertising doors allowing businesses to increase shares to their articles and/or websites by advertising them within these search results. In-fact this advertising revenue might end up coming directly from Google’s pockets as Adwords users go towards Facebook advertising. What are you’re thoughts?
